OUR STORY
Courage of H.O.P.E. Foundation was founded from a simple yet powerful belief: every person deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, hope, and access to life's basic necessities.
Growing up in rural Zimbabwe, our founder witnessed firsthand the daily challenges families faced walking long distances for unsafe water, limited access to healthcare, overcrowded schools, and few economic opportunities.
These experiences inspired a lifelong commitment to creating sustainable solutions that empower communities rather than creating dependence.
Today, Courage of H.O.P.E. Foundation works alongside local communities, government institutions, healthcare providers, educational partners, Rotary clubs, donors, and volunteers to develop projects that improve lives while strengthening local leadership.
Every borehole drilled, every child educated, every farmer empowered, and every patient connected to healthcare represents another step toward a healthier and more prosperous Zimbabwe.
OUR STORY
They focused on the major priorities of providing water, sanitation and children’s education. They requested to partnerwith the villagers and were met with enthusiastic affirmation. For sustainability to occur they believe community involvement is paramount as it gives the locals a sense of ownership over their work and their communities.
A former Village girl from Zimbabwe married a US Marine Veteran. On their first wedding anniversary, they made plans to visit her village.

Although the Marine had traveled extensively when he served his country, he had never been so moved as he was when he experienced first hand the damaging nature of the drought and hyperinflation that is impacting most vulnerable villagers. On the spot (while in Zimbabwe), they agreed that they would help change the present and future for the villagers.
Upon their return to the United States, the two spoke with friends and The Courage of HOPE Foundation was birthed. The acronym H.O.P.E. stands for 'Helping Other People Endure'. Our fervent hope is to invite you to partner with us in helping others. Please take this opportunity to donate.
